The Pixel Peel

What do we know about the skin and ageing? Well, we know that we only see the outer layers and this is where all the wrinkles are. We also know that if we remove the outer layers we reveal young, unblemished skin. So we invented chemical peels to do just that!
Chemical peels, however, require multiple treatments so as to penetrate deep enough to reveal un-aged skin without causing significant downtime for the patient.
But then they asked, what if we increased the penetration? This would then result in faster results whist maintaining minimal downtime. This is the result of their study combining Dermapen and TCA Chemical Peels.
The Pixel Peel… how does it work
Dubbed the “Pixel Peel” the combination treatment includes a pre-treatment using a Dermapen to create enhanced permeability in the outermost layers of the skin. Following the Dermapen, the team at Rejive uses a TCA and finished the treatment with a post peel mask or retinol to reduce redness and inflammation and therefore decrease social downtime.
The results
We compared this approach to traditional TCA peeling results. The results following the Pixel Peel protocol offered the patient less chemical skin damage and increased dermal stimulation. This means an enhanced anti-ageing result, with less downtime and discomfort for the patient. And it is done in fewer treatments.
